Boy, 14, charged with multiple offences following Brockenhurst theft

A 14-year-old boy from Hythe has been charged with several offences following a reported theft from Co-op Welcome, Brookley Road, Brockenhurst on Monday 8 September.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with;

• shoplifting

• common assault

• assault on a constable in the execution of their duty

• breach of Criminal Behaviour Order

• theft from motor vehicle, following a reported incident in Hythe on Monday 21 October 2024

The boy has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday 23 September).
